Description

• Purchased in 2012. Used primarily for hiking the John Muir and Wonderland Trails. Has seen light use since then. Some very minor runs in the bug mesh. No bigger than a dime with one small hole (as pictured). Not bigger than a finger tip in diameter. Can be patched.  Tarp and beak show some very light stains. Glued seems still in fantastic shape. Plenty more life left in this bomb proof super light 2 person shelter. Also included is hyperlite's ultralite stake kit - minus one shepherd stake and two new burlier DC11 stuff sacks. With minimal practice this thing can be pitched super fast. The catenary cut ensuring a nice tight ridge line. Pictured with a Large NeoAir and Long Katabatic Gear Palisade Quilt for reference. Zipper Care applied before sale. From Hyperlite Mountain Gear's website: You won’t find a lighter option with this much protection. The Echo II works like a traditional fully-enclosed tent, but weighs much less. It includes a tarp, a detachable no-see-um bug mesh tent insert with bathtub floor for 100% protection against ground water and insects, and a detachable vestibule for weather protection. We utilize Dyneema® Composite Fabrics (formerly Cuben Fiber), the strongest, lightest and most waterproof fabric available in outdoor gear. You won’t have to think about your tent system on your multi-day alpine climb or thru hike; we’ve found the optimal balance of strength, weight and performance for you.
