*RARE* vtg GOLITE backpacking pad ULTRALIGHT polarguard +20 sleeping quilt NWT

ITEM: GoLite Fur 1 Sleep System + aftermarket stuff sack
RETAIL: $195 for sleep system (see pics of tags) + $8 for REI Stuff Sack (see pic) CONDITION: Brand new, unused. Bag still has tags attached. Item was purchased new but as a final sale at REI in the early 2000's (because it came without a stuff sack and it had some areas of discoloration at the foot of the bag and near the zipper. I never attempted to wash the bag and it hasn't been used) It is in this exact same condition as when I bought it. I did purchase an after market stuff sack for it, to keep all parts together and to store it in a clean, dry closet. That's where its been all these years. It has not been used so the bag loft and foam condition is good.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: GoLite Fur 1 Sleep System Own a piece of VINTAGE ultralight backpacking and camping history...you'd be lucky to even find another one of these for sale anywhere in the US...and to find one in this condition, unused is incredibly RARE. GoLite rose to fame on the tails of Ray Jardine's popularity with the book "Beyond Backpacking" (which is still a GREAT read...highly recommended) and their specialty was ULTRA lightweight gear and clothing to aid backpackers in covering more miles per day or to simply enjoy the scenery a bit more without being bogged down by weight. I bought this in prep for an ultra-fast completion of the John Muir Trail which never happened due to a knee injury during training. I guess I'm finally ready to let go of that dream...selling off a couple of GoLite packs as well.Included in this package are the following:1. GoLite Fur 1 (purple) sleeping quilt. It comes with velcro attachments to connect it directly to the sleep pad.2. GoLite Sleep Pad. Closed cell foam with velcro attachments to accept connection to the GoLite Fur 1 sleep quilt. 3. GoLite Sleep System straps. These can be used to velcro to the sleep quilt and wrapped around an alternative sleep pad if you prefer to use a different variety like Thermarest. Its just a nice option to have to expand the usability of this purchase.4. REI Stuff Sack. After market purchase bought to keep it all contained, together and free from dust while in storage without compressing the bag's fill. This is the large RED stuff sack seen in pictures and will come with your purchase.
