Hammered axe produced in USSR in 1958 according to the All Union State Standard (GOST) Mass: 1.74 kg (3.84 lb)Metal part parameters: 20 cm (7.9 in) х 15 cm (5.9 in) х 4.5 cm (1.8 in); Original design handle!!! Made to last forever!!! The axe was stock-stored. The axe was never used, it is not fixed on handle (it is requested by storage rules prior to use). Before using please drive in the metal wedge as far as it go. The axe is cleaned by kerosine (there are some remains of storage lubricant). The axe is factory sharpened and can be used at any operation environment, it easily cuts through steel wire and nails without any damage to the cutting edge. It is manufactured of tool steel “У7” (the closest analog is DIN 1.1620). The axe has the Quality Control stamp. “A2” type according to GOST 18578*Please be informed, that there may be minor defects on the handle which are negligible for the axe performances and can be easily removed.
