Bit of history: When P.T. Barnum’s star attraction made a tour of Europe in 1878, he rode in a Flandrau carriage NY Times. From the April 3, 1878. A very Large, well built sleigh. Black & burgundy with burgundy upholstery. Nice iron scroll work. High end restoration. Side steps & rein rails. The back seat cushion is missing. There are No original shafts with this sleigh, however, we can sell you the shafts that are featured in the photo for $100.
