The Pro Series Woodworker is a Professional cutting axe that utilizes a traditional German wide-bit blade to be used for heavy cutting and felling tasks. This sharp, slim, wide-bit woodworker head will outperform most American patterned felling axes at cutting tasks, and is quite capable for splitting work as well. The Helko Pro Series was created for the discerning professional. These tools are designed to withstand long term rigorous use with utmost consideration to safety. All axes and mauls incorporate a safety screw installed through the head into the handle to prevent the head from working free of the shaft. The powder coated sheet steel overstrike protector reduces shaft wear and breakage, and protects against miss swings. HEAD
