It comes with a light, but completely wind and waterproof Gore-Tex Active Shell which effectively protects the wearer against the elements. The three-layered laminate is also incredibly breathable and wicks moisture and sweat quickly outward. The jacket can be folded up very small and will therefore always find space in your touring backpack.
The Storm Fighter 2.0 GTX Jacket Hardshell Jacket has a helmet-compatible hood which can be adjusted using a drawstring. Its loose fit provides fantastic freedom of movement, so several layers of clothing can be comfortably worn underneath. There is a small breast pocket fitted with a water repellent zipper that is incredibly useful for storing provisions or a little electronic helper.
