Note: The stand and the short stabilizer are so that I can photograph the bow and are not part of the sale. What you have here is a Yamaha SuperFeel Forged bow that was at the time the top bow in the world. It's renowned for its smoothness and speed. The limbs are the top-of-the-line carbon ceramics and weigh in at 41 lbs. The riser is 23" (the only size they made in this riser) and the limbs are long so they are very smooth. The bow is a limited edition burgandy/silver/gold that was made for Yamaha's 40th anniversary as noted on the bow. The bow comes with the shims you'll need to bump this bow down 10% if you want to work into it (the bow also tillers up if you wish). This bow formed the basis for all forged bows that are made by SF Archery as Sebastian Flute purchased Yamaha's bow making equipment when they got out of the business. The bow and limbs are in great condition as it was only used about one half of a season before injury forced me to quit. There is only a couple of paint chips on the riser and limbs. There is some paint that has come off where I had a stick-on rest that was removed. I have modified the grip from medium to high, but I used a fairly weak putty to do this, so if you want it, back, just knock off the putty and sand off the excess. The plunger hole is metric and as such I'm including the Shibuya DX plunger so that you don't have to source a metric one. The sight holes are standard width apart but the threads are metric. Because of this I have included several sets of metric screws that will fit a variety of sight plate widths, so don't worry about that. All of the other holes are the standard as used on all other bows sold in the U.S. and elsewhere. The bow also comes with different clicker plates and extensions. So, if you're looking for a bow that will shoot with the best of them (even contemporary models) that has collectors historical value at the same time, this is the bow for you. BTW, I have the manual somewhere for sure, and in 10 days I will do my best to find it. If I don't find it by then, I'll keep your address and mail it to you when I do. The manual in full is available online, however. No reserve I will ship international, but since it's difficult to estimate foreign shipping, I'm going to have to overcharge you by a fair amount and then refund the difference after I purchase shipping and get it underway. |
