This is a 15-1/2" team roping or calf roping saddle made for South Texas Tack, Brenham, Texas! South Texas Tack is one of the three largest Horse Supply Stores in Texas, along with D&D, Seguin, TX and NRS, Decatur, TX. All of their saddles are well made and sought after.  This saddle is in great shape and is very well made! If you go to the South Texas Tack web page you will see that new this saddle is going to cost you about $1,800.00. I am anal when it comes to maintaining my saddles. They are religiously cleaned, oiled, and inspected for worn or damaged leather! The fleece on the bottom and the horn leather are like new! All tie straps and cinches are included! It has a wood/bull hide reinforced roping tree with semi-quarter horse bars that fit 90% of today's modern quarter horses! The stirrup leathers have a reinforced strip of leather where the holes are punched to prevent hollowing out the holes over time. This is a very heavy duty roping saddle that hasn't been abused! After 40 years of roping, I'm starting to slow down and have numerous roping items that I will be selling, some won and some purchased. The best advice that my father ever gave me was, "If you buy quality first it lasts for ever! If you buy cheap you will replace it enough times to where it costs more!" This saddle always got the job done, is comfortable to ride for both you and just about any horse you throw it on!  And remember, the best saddles in the world are all made in Texas!!
