This is a 14" Championship Pole Bending Saddle, made by Tex Tan Saddlery, Yoakum, Texas, won at the South Texas Barrel Racing Association (STBRA) finals. This saddle is in great shape and is very well made! Tex Tan is without a doubt the oldest current Company making saddles today, for over 150 years. I am anal when it comes to maintaining saddles. They are religiously cleaned, oiled, and inspected for worn or damaged leather! The fleece on the bottom is in great shape and the horn is rawhide laced! All tie straps and cinches are included! It has a barrel tree with semi-quarter horse bars that fit 90% of today's modern quarter horses! This is a very well made barrel racing saddle!  This saddle was won, in 1994, and it has been used sparingly as you can see by the shape that it's in for it's age! After 40 years of rodeoing, the family is starting to slow down and I have numerous rodeo items that I will be selling, some won and some purchased. The best advice that my father ever gave me was, "If you buy quality first it lasts for ever! If you buy cheap you will replace it enough times to where it costs more!" This saddle always got the job done, is comfortable to ride for both you and just about any horse you throw it on, and is flashy without being gaudy! No reserve, we're selling it!
