One of a kind Jays Custom High Back Buckaroo Saddle. Take a trip back to the cowboy days with this stout little jewel of a saddle. Custom crafted in 2006 based on the old cowboy or buckaroo style saddle just like those used by the lean working cowhand of days gone by. The 13.5" seat and 6" high back cantle is suitable for the youth or small lady rider of today and sits surprisingly larger than expected due to the undercut of the 18" swell to allow for the longer legs of the adolescent cowboy. Built on on a custom in-house wood wrapped in rawhide FQH tree with a 7" Gullet. Weighs in at 30 lbs with a 24" double skirt and solid brass front rigging ring. Thick yet supple leather throughout on a saddle that spent a small amount of time on a horse before moving inside the owner's home as a display piece. Little sign of it being used as noted with the thick pristine clean fleece lining. We ship all saddles fully insured via FedEx with signature and daytime phone number required.
