The Paine is made with a Vibram Teton + Zamberlan PCS outsole featuring bi-density PU soles and fully automatic crampon compatibility. The uppers feature Gore-Tex + Duratherm bootee construction with an integrated gaiter and a precise fit. A full RRS (rubber rand system) adds excellent protection while the Schoeller and Cordura synthetic uppers are wear and puncture resistant. Riri Aquazip zippers are durable and reliable.Inside, the Z-Thermo Comfort Fit footbeds are not only anatomically excellent, but offer thermal insulation for the bottom of the foot.
