BEAUTIFUL RARE BLACK 17" medium tree County Stabilizer that is wool flocked so the flocking can be adjusted to best suit your horse. I used this saddle on my extremely high camel withered TB with huge shoulder movement, as well as on a little mutton withered QH, the fit worked extremely well for those two polar opposite back styles. The tree and wool panels allowed the saddle to mold to the horses backs. Nice thick stuffed wool back panels to help the saddle lay flat and prevent rocking. Saddle's pommel, twist, seat, and cantle are in great condition and the leather is nice and soft. The leg flaps and knee pads are in GREAT shape, and broken in beautifully. The outer knee pads are soft and squishy making them extremely comfortable. There are no tears and no loose stitching. Minor wear on the skirt where your thigh would lay over the top of it and the underlying buckle of the stirrup leather. Flaps have rub marks on the outer flaps and there is some seam wear along the bottom edges where your lower leg lies. The billets are in good-working condition; could maybe use replacing or restitching within the next couple of years, but as you can see in the pictures they are fine for the time being. No tears on the pommel, twist or cantle. Only obvious sign of age is the green enamel County logo caps have chipped away over the years. Great, high end saddle on a budget; new this saddle retails over $3,500. I love this saddle, I have chronic low back pain and bought this saddle to replace my Prestige Paris saddle. The flatter, squishier seat of this saddle made a huge difference in my pain while riding. The only reason I am selling this saddle is because I am a graduate student with huge medical and vet bills to pay with no income. I do NOT want to sell the saddle, I just have to :-( Seat measures 17″ Medium Spring tree Flaps are stamped as with a "3" (I am assuming that it indicates the flap position) Serial number= 96031401 More pictures available upon request. I am happy to answer any questions and provide any additional measurements you may need. Please see my other sale items! I am selling all of my RARE MATCHING ***BLACK*** Show Jumping Tack to raise money to get my beloved rescue dog an MRI to see if he has a life threatening brain tumor. I am a graduate student in the process of applying to medical school, thus I have no income to support his vet bills. In order to pursue a career as a doctor I had to give my horse away last October, now I am selling everything I own to support my beloved dog! Your purchases will help me give my dog, Boston, the health care he needs and deserves! *LEATHERS AND IRONS NOT INCLUDED in this auction. But if you need any of those items just let me know and I would be happy to sell them to you for an additional cost.
Thank you and happy bidding!
