Nona Garson Prestige Close-Contact SaddleBeautiful, comfortable, well-made saddle with 17" seat, in brown calf-skin leather with white stitching. Padded knee roll and knee and thigh blocks for increased security over jumps. Stamped serial number 17 32 6480706 22, with the number 33 stamped under the 32. This saddle has an adjustable tree, so I believe that the 33 under the 32 means that the saddle started out with a 32cm tree and was later widened to 33cm. The flap length from the bottom of the stirrup bar is 13". Square cantle with distinctive "white" Prestige stripe and brass name plate in back with no inscription, ready for your name. This saddle is in great condition, lightly used and well cared for. Some rubbing to the leather from previous owner's use of stiff stirrup leathers, but I switched to softer leathers so damage is minimal. Otherwise the saddle is in excellent shape --no cracking or scratches, recently cleaned and oiled. Originally sold for around $3400.
