This vintage Coleman Gold Bond lantern marked "Model 228H" and date coded on the bottom "2-74"  is in as found very nice condition. This lantern looks like it was initially "fired-up" and shut down!  It is that clean!! One small area of paint loss on front side and some loss around bottom edge of canister (see pics).
