Estimated price for orientation: 1 000 $
Category: Vintage and Collectibles
Class:
Description Type: Recurve Bow Model: Tamer Lane Brand: Fred Bear Country/Region of Manufacture: Canada Color: Multi-Color
Here is a great find!
I believe it to be a 1967 Fred Bear right handed Tamer Lane recurve bow.
It is in beautiful condition with only some smudges that look to be under the finish.
It is a 32#, 69" bow that comes with accessories.
They are:
Wrist strap with a Thunderbird stamped on it.
2 bow strings, one black, in original case and one natural.
String wax
Adjustable weight stabilizer
Bow case with inner and outer storage
Instructions on stringing your bow.
The bow is marked with 7E 10 24 on the riser.
One limb has the Tamer Lane logo and the other has the year and patent numbers, with Canada 1953 on it.
The numbers are U.S. patents:
2,423,765
2,613,660
2,665,678
This same limb has the Fred Bear Grayling Michigan logo on it.
I cannot find the normal type of model number on it, but I think the number mentioned above likely has something to do with it. The case has seen better days, but has protected the bow very well. The strings look to be in good condition and may bounce back with a good waxing. I however would get new string for myself.
The beauty of this bow cannot be overstated.
