You haven't clicked Buy it now yet???? When's the next time you will see an unskated and undrilled tye dye for this price.
Holy Grail? I'd say so.
I think Jeff won first place overall in the world even beating Hawk in 1986 on the Tye Dye????
1986 Tye dye has a blemish in the last screening process. Awesome board still. Never skated, but gripped and mounted. Stain is faded but will still display nicely. Awesome grip tape!!!
Trusted seller in rare boards. Sorry no returns on this rare item, thanks. I'll never forget the first time I saw Jeff skate. It was 1985 in a suburb just outside of Dallas, and I was 12 years old. There was an older kid that lived down the street with a 10 foot half pipe made out of plywood in his back yard in Plano, Texas. This ramp was massive! Anyway, me and my friend went by the ramp one day and saw a guy doing massive airs. So we begged the older kid to let us in the back yard to watch. When we got into the back yard I yelled, " who is that guy skating"?, and he yelled back at me, " that's Jeff Phillips man! A pro skater". So I was lucky enough to get to spend the whole day watching Jeff skate this ramp. I'll never for get how he shook the ramp or the sound of his trucks grinding on the metal coping, awesome!! He would do invert after invert with ease and massive board slides to fakie. He was a very nice and kind hearted person that day unlike the older kid that lived there lol who eventually kicked us out by the end of the day.
The very next day I bought a set of sims nitros wheels and started building my own mini half pipe in my side yard, whether my dad approved of it or not. Awesome!
Jeff Phillips Lives through his fans!!!
The city of Plano eventually made the older kid tear down his ramp due to the massive size of it. Bummer.
