Rock solid condition displaying typical signs of use. I have been unable to identify the particular brand. The construction of the heel and the stitching is very similar to Henry Maxwell boots have I come across. I have taken several photos that show the extremely high workmanship. The boots have approximately 17 stitches per inch and in several areas there are two and three rows of stitching. The heels are secured with a multitude of brads. The inner side of each boot shows a darkening of the leather that is most likely a result of resting against the horse. The photos show the information that has been hand written on the inside. VINTAGE SHOE CONSIDERATIONS: Keep in mind that there is no telling just how much life may be left in some vintage shoes. I list the shoes as accurately and honestly as possible for the current state of condition. USED SHOE CONSIDERATIONS: You are looking at a pair of used shoes. If you require a perfect appearance, then quite possibly this auction is not for you. Although I take great care in pointing out apparent scuffs, scratches etc., when listing a used pair of shoes, I cannot possibly account for every wrinkle, light scuff or light scratch that might be visible when you hold the shoe up to eye level. When I take a close up photo of what I deem worthy to point out to you, please keep in mind that is exactly what it is, a close up photo. It most cases the scuff or scratch that is shown in a close up photo will not be noticeable when you are actually wearing the shoes. There will be no price adjustments for “issues” that make it a less than perfect pair of shoes. When I state the shoes are “clean and odor free” I am saying that basically there is no loose dirt etc. that you will have to tend to. Oder free is in regards to unusual odors (stinky feet etc.) but it does not mean you won’t possibly smell leather or shoe care products. I clean each pair of shoes using 150 lbs of air pressure. You can be certain I have done my best to clean the shoes. If you wish to add to your assortment of shoes on a low budget, then this auction might be what you are looking for.
