Offered for sale are 3 Chouinard - Frost  ice axes from an estate .   There are 2 long axes and one shorter ice hammer/ pick/ ax.   I think everything is 1970's vintage but it could be earlier than that.   There is some light tarnish on the chrome parts of the axes -- the ice hammer tool has more tarnish than either ax.  Everything is real solid -- not wobble or cracks of any kind.   The tape on the axes has some wear marks on both axes -- the tape on the hammer is very clean and may have been recently put on.  There was a small  --  almost used up blue tape roll with the equipment and I will include that with the axes.  The leather covers are in fair to good condition -- one axe head cover has a split seam(see last picture)  The overall length is 27 iches and about 13 inches wide on the axes -- the ice hammer tool is about 12 inches long overall.The longer axes are marked made in Premana Italy -- the hammer is stamped in red made in USA  SEE PICTURES -- I am not an expert on vintage ice climbing equipment.   Please ask questions  and I will do my best to answer .  Selling exactly as found and as is.Exact shipping rates to your location based on a 10 lb package--  priority mail
