This listing is for a beautiful vintage Silver Show Saddle we believe it to be Broken Horn. The silver is tarnished and can use a good cleaning. Although the leather is not marked that we can find, all silver is engraved and marked Broken Horn. Leather is in great shape and deeply hand carved in a floral pattern. Full QH Bars the gullet measures 7". Fleece is in excellent shape. Seat measures 15 1/2" and is built up in front and back...actual seat measures more like 15". Amazing saddle that really makes a statement. Complementing breast collar is also available. This saddle and breast collar was known to be owned by John Moore, Sr. one of the last working cowboys on the Historic Vail Ranch in what is now Temecula, CA (over 80,000 acres in Southern California). We believe he had it custom made as a show saddle for a friends daughter.Please note that this is a vintage item and may show some signs of wear.
