Weight of saddle, without girth, is 16 pounds. Has every upgrade Desoto saddle offered(brass hardware, adjustable double rigging with billet, extra padding in seat, easy ride stirrups Solid Brass Hardware Thick double-foam cushion seat Tail crupper ring 4" high cantle Strings, as well as rings, on front and rear to secure all trail items. Skirt is lined with heavyweight, breathable material designed for durability and to prevent saddle slippage. Skirt is laminated with ultra foam for shock absorption. 1 3/4" heavy nylon stirrup strap and leather reinforced holes. Solid brass single prong roller buckle on stirrup leather allows easy adjustment and no bulk against the skin. Stirrup leathers are completely free-swinging and give the freeness of riding an English saddle. Breast collar D-rings Fork is thin enough to wrap your hand around, high enough to allow room for all horses' withers, but low enough so that it won't interfere with your movements while climbing uphill or leaning forward to avoid low branches. The edge of the side jockey under your leg is tapered down to prevent rubbing. The picture to the right is a picture of the exact saddle I am selling displayed on the Desoto Saddle website-the saddle I am selling has been slightly used. This saddle is like new. I custom ordered this endurance saddle to replace my western saddle and after 6 months on the waiting list it finally came. I didn't realize I would miss a horn so much. I am not a secure enough rider for an endurance saddle. ***I will allow you to try saddle for 7 days to make sure it fits you and your horse. It really bothers me when I see a horse with an ill fitting saddle.
