Gorgeous Black leather Elan Side Saddle by Hundred Oaks . It is in excellent used condition. I had this saddle reflocked by Lillian Chaudhary. It has a lovely "sticky" suede seat so it's is a joy to ride in. Having an X-Wide tree it's great for wide backed draft and draft types. It fit my Baroque style Friesian gelding beautifully. Being tall myself the 22 inch seat made it fun and safe to ride in. And of course, the built in balance strap helped too.
This is a great opportunity as Hundred Oaks is no longer in business. Marti Friddle has retired. And sadly, Lillian Chaudhary is no longer in business either.
With the following Measurements X Wide Tree Seat Width is 16 inches Seat Length is 22 inches Pommel Placement is Average
I am also have the following that I will include for FREE in the sale of this saddle. All of these items were purchased from Lillian Chaudhary/ Heritage Tack & Saddlery.-One Queen (I have seriously skinny legs) -One Black Leather Crupper 1 inch wide adjustable from approximately 25 to 29 inches long, comes with snap to attach to back of saddle. -One Crosby Leather Tri-Fold Girth 48” With additional keeper to snap breastplate to. -One set of Extra-long Leather English Side-Saddle Reins they are 5/8" and 80 inches center buckle to bit attachment end.
I'll also throw in an Extra rubber band and 2 leather loops for the Peacock Iron. And Fleece Cover.
I am no longer using this saddle and it's too nice to just sit in my sewing room.
