I have not seen many of these listed on eBay before, possibly never. It is a rare PL55 with larger tank than the PL53 and left in the condition in which I bought it some years ago. It is also untested. The tank retains much of the original paint and I have found only one very shallow dink which you may be able to see mid-right on pic.5. The hood is pretty good and has all 3 brass air buttons. The 182 globe has a blue stamp with the words Tilley Davisil printed on it and I can see a small flaw in the glass to the right of this lozenge. The wire globe holder has had a small break which seems to have been repaired in the past and the wire is fairly rusted. All in all this would be a very nice example of this lamp for a collector to have in his/her collection. Please note there will be no Buy-it-Now.
