Drawing on their years of experience and extensive knowledge of 12 volt refrigeration, Evakool has developed a range of upright fridge * freezers specially designed to provide maximum cooling capacity in our harsh Australian environment.Up until now the challenge facing consumers has been the ability to find an upright fridge* freezer that could continue to freeze in the high ambient temperatures we experience during our hot summer months.Well the search is finally over!Evakool’s Platinum series delivers ‘ exceptional performance ‘ and importantly will maintain freezer temperatures of at least -15 C in ambient temperatures in excess of + 48 C.During testing, the model DC 210 not only continued to cycle when operating in an ambient temperature of + 49 C but achieved a staggering -17.5C in the freezer and + 3.5 C in the fridge.Understandably, the Platinum series has achieved the maximum climate class rating of T+.
Powered by a 12v/24 v compressor with insulated walls up to 100 mm thick, the Platinum series has been purposely designed to withstand the rigors of off-road travelling and as such are suited for most camper and mobile home applications.
