Used, but well loved and well cared for Frank Baines Balance Nexus Dressage saddle. This saddle has a "pointless" tree, meaning there are no front tree points to impair shoulder movement. Obviously not all horses have issues with shoulder infringement, but some do and this is a good possibility for them. Because there are no points that traditionally define width, Balance doesn't on it's pointless trees. The JB pads, especially the shoulder pads are intended to help shim to help fit different widths. My own humble and personal opinion is that this saddle is geared towards horses on the wider end of the spectrum (although I also didn't use the JB pads much). That said, I have never had clearance even remotely be a problem on more medium framed horses. Seat is size "C", which measures 17.5-18 the traditional way. At one point, I thought to do endurance in this, so there are extra D rings (2 on each side on the rear) in addition to a crupper ring.Included accessories:- Saddle Cover- The full pad JB fitting pad combo set, which included the wool backed saddle pad, the pro-complete base bad, and both the 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch JB pads. The pads are also in used but good condition. - Since the saddle has short billets (It's a Balance Int'l thing), I'm including a brand new 48" Toklat woolback girth- Frank Baines Balance leather breastplate. No damage, supple, and perfectly usable, but does not strike me as the nicest of breastplates. I used others, but this one came with the saddle.- The original paperwork from Balance International, including the manual, 4th edition.Edited: For those struggling with the "no width", I have added a picture of the Wintec gullet gauge up against the front. This shouldn't be used as gospel as a large part of the Balance fitting philosophy revolves around their pads, particularly the JB pads, to fill in at the shoulder. However, it gives you an idea of what you have to work with.Edited2: Removable knee blocks are included, and I uploaded an additional photo showing them.
