SUMMER SALEThis 15" seat Stonewall Classic Saddle being offered direct from Stonewall Saddle Company Stonewall Saddles has been making lightweight trail saddles for 40 years, and when we can find them we buyback our older saddles and factory refurbish them and offer them for sale at a reduced price. This Stonewall Classic saddle, s/n 1326 is about 25-30 years old and has been factory refurbished and ready to hit the trail. As you can see, it has many many more miles to go and the underlying saddle tree is sound. Yes, the leather is a bit faded and has some age cracks as shown in the center seat and we would recommend a sheepskin fleece seat cover to protect it from harsh conditions, but the price of $695 reflects that and cannot be beat. This saddle is built on a medium tree (aka quarter horse tree) to narrow tree and will fit a high withered horse. A typical wither profile of an average horse is shown in the profile cards. This lightweight saddle weighs only 12 lbs and with its small seat will make a great saddle for a child or petite adult.The 'Y' type rigging is fully adjustable and will pull both the rear and front of the saddle down and eliminate the "wagging" often seen with western saddles. Your horse is cushioned with a layer of aerospace rated memory foam and an outer layer of creamy fleece on the underside of the saddle. This saddle places the rider in a balanced and centered riding position near the horse's' center of gravity for the greatest rider security and ease of motion for the horse. Also known as dressage type equitation.This saddle is currently setup for use with a western cinch Other cinching options are available including an english girth conversion.
