One of the really nice features of a takedown is that you can pack it in a suitcase and take it anywhere. Another is that the heavy riser absorbs virtually all vibration. Also, this bow could be used for practice in off-hunting seasons, then fitted heavier draw-weight-limbs when hunting time comes. I often build takedowns with two sets of limbs. The Pau Ferro limb back adds a nice aesthetic touch, but is also hard to see in the woods - a natural camo effect. If you are looking for a handsome bow with all of the desirable shooting features, this is it!
