fantastically gorgeous and TOP QUALITY pair of western braided KANGAROO
LEATHER show romel romal rommel reins loaded with STERLING SILVER!! These are
FANTASTICALLY NICE romel reins that absolutely DRIP with quality in every way,
shape and form. I have NEVER seen a pair of romels as nice as these….they are
the kind of vintage quality that simply doesn’t exist anymore and this pair
truly is A WORK OF ART. Despite the fact that they are VINTAGE in age, these
stunning reins were VERY SPARINGLY USED over the years—only for certain
shows—and tenderly loved and cared for, so they are in EXCELLENT CONDITION!
There is not a thing wrong with them….just normal, very mild and very cosmetic
signs of use. The sterling silver shows tarnish as it hasn’t been polished in a
bit. There is NOT ONE damaged or broken braid; these reins were clearly LOVED. These
stunning reins are absolutely beautifully made from rich brown KANGAROO LEATHER
which offers a fabulous feel. The braiding is IMMACULATE with every piece being
perfectly positioned, which creates a SUPER SOFT finish and feel. Each rein has
10 STERLING SILVER FERRULES which are 1” in length. A really unique detail is
that at the bit end loops as well as in the middle where the reins connect,
there are smaller STERLING SILVER FERRULES in place of braided keepers, and
even the knots (to secure the loop closures) have STERLING SILVER BUTTONS—see
closeups. This is a detail that I’ve never seen before, and one that really
speaks to their superb quality! The sterling silver is INCREDIBLY NICE and is
equivalent to, or even nicer than, VINTAGE VOGT or DIABLO! There are many
raised braided accents of varying size as well. These romels weigh 18oz. The diameter of the rein loop is a hair under 3/8” while the
diameter of the single romel rein is 7/16”. The rein loop is approx. 52” long
(including the quick snaps), the single rein is approx. 46” long and the total
length (including the popper and the quick snaps) is 100”. The popper is 11.25” long by just over 1” wide. This is a once in a
lifetime chance to own a TOP QUALITY pair of STUNNING show romels! Any
