Hello E-Bayer's                                           I am Listing today, in my Opinion one of Ireland's Best Shillelaghs,The Mottled Ash Wood Knob Stick. I, and many like me, Believe that Ash wood Makes an Incredibly Strong and Beautiful Shillelagh/ Walking Stick.I have come to love the Grain in the Heartwood as well as its strength and the Beauty of its skin when it is Oiled and Polyurethaned. I also want you to look at the Shank on this Ash wood Stick, as it has a Skin that is Very Beautiful.I currently have this stick at 36.1/2", and it has a Knob Handle that is7" around any way you measure it, and that makes for a very Formidable walking Stick. Also, its shank is 3.1/2" at the Knob and it tapers down to 2.1/2" at the Ferrule end making this a Beautifully Balanced and extremely Strong walking stick or, A Shillelagh.I have finished this Shank with 3 coats of Linseed Oil followed by 4 Coats of Polyurethane to seal the Oils in so this stick will last its owners and there Hiers a Lifetime of Use.I will also cut this stick down to whatever length the new Owner would like it to be and I will also put on a New Brass ferrule.
