2014 G5 Prime Impact Right hand Compound Bow 70 lbs camo 29.5 in.
Estimated price for orientation: 550 $
Category: Compound
Class:
Description Suitable For: Hunting / Target Overall Length (in.): 35in. Brand: Prime G5 Draw Length (in.): 29.5 in. MPN: Does Not Apply Model: Impact Dexterity: Right Hand Color: Camo Draw Weight (lbs.): 61-70lbs.
The Bottom Line: The Impact is a flat out shooter for any archery style. The price tag may be a little steep for some, but when shooters consider the true multipurpose use of this rig, it may be a little more justifiable. Prime has proven to be a great company with some super technology. Shooters wanting a new bow for 2014 should hunt one of these down to give it a try. They are well worth a test shoot for any archer in the market for a new bow.G5 Prime Impact ($949; )
Specs: 340 fps IBO; 35 inches axle-to-axle; Brace Height 6.25; 4.5 pounds
Skinny: G5’s bows have been getting better every year—inching closer the perennial top contenders. This year, based solely on these preliminary tests, the Impact has cleared the bar. It should join the discussion for best bow of 2013. The other version of the bow is the 30-inch Defy, but we liked this one better.
Hits: Smoothest draw cycle of all the bows at the show. Nice valley; doesn’t want to yank your string hand forward. Good back wall. Absolutely dead in the hand, more so, I thought, than any other bow we shot.
