Hi! Fresh from a nice old Maine estate is this wonderful vintage SIEVERT SVEA NO. 5 Brass Camp Stove - complete with its own Wooden Storage Box - in very good used condition! This is signed "THE KING OF STOVES" with a SVEA HallMark in the middle (pictured). I am not sure of the exact age however, based on the limited information I could find, I believe this is a rare model, similar to the Model No.106. The Fuel Filler cap is signed SVEA MADE IN SWEDEN 1891(pictured). The pump knob has a removable cap which can be used to cover the tank fuel outlet when not in use.The Tank, filler cap, pump, burner tubes, shield, burner cap, and tin burner plate are all SVEA - Made In Sweden. The 3 legs for the burner plate are made of steel. The top of the tank is beautifully inscribed (pictured). I honestly don't know if the 11 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 5 1/16" wooden box is original, or if it was built after the fact, but it is well made. The tin burner plate locks conveniently underneath the top with 2 blocks of wood(pictured) and the stove fits neatly inside with the feet set in 3 shallow holes. The burner and extras have there own place and the top has a shallow hole in the center(pictured) which lines up with the stove fuel outlet. The box has 4 small holes on the top edge which coordinate with pegs on the top cover(1 peg is missing) - very cool! This will make an excellent addition to any vintage camp stove collection - or a very cool display piece from days gone by on your favorite shelf! I am listing a few vintage/antique items this week. Please feel free to check them out! You never know...you might find that rare or unusual piece you have been searching for! Thank you for viewing!
