CRESCENT KNIFE WORKS SlimJim Pro. Throwing Knives. Size: 13" X 1" X 1/4" Weight 14 oz / 400g Made from high carbon 5160 spring steel. Each knife is hand ground to the correct size and shape for perfect balance. Heat treating is done in a propane forge where the knives are individually heated to critical temperature and then submerged into Crescent Knife Works own formula of quenching oil. The knives are then double tempered in our digitally controlled heat treating furnace. This combination of the best steel available and our own heat treating process ensures that these knives will give a lifetime of service.
