Features Enter your model number to make sure this fits. Simple, ultralight, and highly versatile group shelter Description Product Description The yurt-inspired, multipurpose Altai is the ideal group shelter solution for both long and short trips where low weight is of the highest priority. Simple, single wall design, very light weight, and roomy interior make it an excellent adjunct to other tents or as the sole shelter on any trip. Sidewalls can be supported by poles or by skis or the like for the center, or trekking poles for the sides- as well as by suspending them, the Altai is quite adaptable to any trip. The lighter weight Altai UL is made from ultralight Kerlon 1200 and is the choice for those needing the lightest weight package. The Altai XP is made with Kerlon SP, an exceptionally stout polyester fabric boasting a minimum tear strength of 15 kilos. The XP version is a better choice for more demanding trips, as its fabric is stronger. Both share the same, larger gauge zippers and sturdy fittings, and both versions can be purchased either alone, or together with poles and pegs.
