SPECIAL OFFER for auction a rare, hardly available Optimus Hiker stove and only one of this special box: Original vintage OPTIMUS HIKER no 111, also called Optimus Cobra Arctic, silentburner equipment. Made in Sweden. This special stove was produced of Optimus for/used by the Norwegian Army only, in the very cold areas north of Norway, and they were not to be sold to public.Due to the special "COBRA-burner" (actually made for multifuel, see details photo) the stove was specially fitted for extreme weather conditions.
The stove is at ease with working at high altitudes such as 6.000 m (appr. 19.500 ft) and/in combine, temperatures down to -50 degree C.
It is fit with a not flammable absorber formed as a doughnut, locate in the bottom of preheat cup. Ensures a long preheat period, what is necsessary in extreme cold.The stove appears with all it's originality direct from the Norwegian Army's store, this is the last Optimus Hiker 111 Cobra I have for sale, buy it now, because this is your last change of purchase Cobra from me for a long time.
