Additionally, Velcro loop closures positioned on the pack's shoulder straps will secure small gel bottles, ropes, gloves, tubes and a whole manner of other small, loose items that need to be reached quickly. The main compartment's extended collar folds over and serves as a hood for the front facing pocket and pack as a whole.
