Featured here is a reasonably clean, very good condition pre-owned Wills Wing Z4, the size is MEDIUM PLUS (custom narrow/-2 inches), and it is well-appointed with plenty of great features as standard equipment that would be considered options on most other harnesses. The previous owner of this harness is 5’10” tall and 150#, but it will also fit some taller or shorter pilots. The main color of this harness is purple, and it has wedge trim panels and stripes in black. The interior color is black. So, what’s wrong with it? It is flyable just the way it is, but it does have a few minor issues: · There is a very noticeable brown dirt smudge on the front of the parachute container. This is considered very normal in hang gliding, as pilots often fall down on landings. The next owner may be able to clean up the dirt smudge on the front flap of the chute container to make it less noticeable. · · The small zippered compartment on the chest (just below the parachute container) has a minor problem. The stitching holding the zipper in has come undone along one seam (see photos). The next owner can easily fix this by hand-stitching it. · · There is another very minor zipper issue, but I feel that it should be mentioned. The zipper that closes the chest of the harness…from the neck to the waist…works perfectly, but it does have some noticeably distorted coils (see photo). The next owner will want to handle this part of the zipper with a little extra care, so as to not cause the zipper any further wear or damage. As it is, it works fine, and should continue to do so…but it is probably a bit more prone to damage at this location than anywhere else along the zipper. Handle with care. · · The previous owner flew this harness only a few times without the plastic ‘toenail’ protecting the boot, but that was enough to cause some very minor wear on the ‘toe’ of the harness (see photo). · · It has some other minor dirt smudges in various places, and there is some dried grass stuck in some of the velcro. All in all, it looks great inside and out. The cloth of the harness looks shiny and clean, other than the smudged spots previously mentioned. The plastic ‘toenail’ is in very good condition, and shows almost no wear. And it's not often you'll find a very good condition recent production model harness that's discounted over 30% off the regular cost!
