Now you can learn to fly where this event is held on the pristine beaches of Panama City Beach, Florida. Freedom Flight Center offers high quality PPG training that consistently turns out competent pilots with exceptional skills.
We are a full time school and certified by the only PPG Certification there is, the USPPA. Only first class for our students!
Relax and get settled in this is going to be one great week of learning and making new friends. We start in the morning with the basics, regulations (Far part 103), and weather. We access the conditions and then it is time to learn Glider Mastery. Glider Mastery is absolute instinctual control of the glider using the three axis of control. While you will see many pilots kiting the glider while looking up at it we believe a competent and skilled pilot can do so with feel alone. The glider has a language of her own. If you learn this language your flying experience will be one of joy and exhilaration rather than frustration and broken equipment.
We can guide you in purchasing your own equipment to train on or train on ours.
John Black is the lead instructor at Freedom Flight Center. John has trained with some of the best pilots in the world including Redbull Acro Sensation Chris Santacroce. You have been thinking about learning to fly for some time so now is the time to get onboard and experience this fantastic sport. Our beach offer all day flying which allows for more training time than is possible inland. This also equates to more flight time while you are here.
