AWESOME handmade bit by Quitman Texas maker Kris Rinks. Bit has gorgeous silver and copper floral overlay on heavy solid shanks. The low port is one most horses (and a lot of riders) will really get along with. Coupled with the heavy shanks it still gets the point across. The mouthpiece measures 5 1/4" wide and is marked KRIS RINKS 8 on the 1 5/8" tall port. The shanks measure 8 1/4" long. I bought this bit for my personal collection (and to match a specific headstall), but have never used it. My loss!!!
