Please read the description and look closely at the pictures for more details on the item’s condition. I may not list every little scratch or nick that’s present, and please keep in mind that unless I state the item is new, it is used and sold as is. I don’t take returns unless I grossly misrepresent an item. I do combine shipping so PLEASE WAIT TO PAY UNTIL YOU’VE PURCHASED EVERYTHING YOU’RE INTERESTED IN. Once an item is paid for, it no longer qualifies for combined shipping. PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN A WEEK (7 days) OF LISTING’S END.More details and policies are in bold below the item description. If you haven’t shopped at The Discount Equestrian before, check out my store policies so that you know where I stand with certain things. I’m an honest Ebayer and strive to keep my customers thrilled with their items and experience when shopping with me. Thanks!WOW! For sale is an absolutely stunning, fantastically nice and ABSOLUTE TOP QUALITY pair of western BLUE RIBBON petite braided rawhide romel reins with STERLING SILVER FERRULES! These are INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL and OUTSTANDINGLY NICE reins which are made by BLUE RIBBON and you simply won’t find them nicer than this. The craftsmanship and the feel of the braided rawhide is PHENOMENAL….this is by far one of the nicest pairs of romels I’ve had in my shop and you really have to handle them to fully understand the incredible feel. These romels were purchased for $1000 from Blue Ribbon just a year or two ago, and they were used just a couple times and then stored….they are in EXCELLENT CONDITION! There is some minimal and mild darkening/discoloration of the rawhide (some of this might come off with cleaning), the sterling silver ferrules are tarnished as they’ve not been polished since they were last in the show ring, and you can see in the pictures that they are a bit misshapen from storage. The last picture shows the discoloration present on the undersides of the rein loop from rubbing the horse’s neck. These stunning romels are incredibly well made from petite braided rawhide which is light in color…perfectly fitting to match your light oil show tack. The end has a beautifully tooled leather popper which is fully stitched and measures 12.5” in length by 1.375” in width. Each rein is adorned with 6 STERLING SILVER FERRULES, for a total of 18, and this is TOP QUALITY sterling silver….the kind Blue Ribbon is known and loved for. These are very refined reins: the diameter of the rein loop is just 5/16”, while the diameter of the single romel rein is 3/8”. Due to their refined style, they are lighter weight, weighing in at just 19oz. The length of the rein loop (measured to the end of the loop) is approx. 53.5”, the length of the single romel rein including the popper is 51” and the total length is 108”. Any questions, just ask! Be sure to check out my many other listings for tons of great horsey deals!KEEP IN MIND - Please keep in mind that all items not described as new are being sold AS IS. I don’t take returns and I ask bidders to read the whole description and carefully overview the photos. Don’t hesitate to ask questions. I want all bidders to understand that many of my items are used, and quite possibly have very minor or insignificant defects that I’ve missed or didn’t specify in the listing. Don’t expect a used item to be free of flaws unless I describe it so. Please have realistic expectations when purchasing pre-owned items.FEEDBACKPLEASE READ BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK – VERY IMPORTANT! Feedback is very important to me, and the difference between you leaving me a positive or a negative can make or break my account.  Mistakes can happen, and if for any reason at all you feel as though you are unable to leave me positive feedback, I request that you please message me first and give me the chance to make things right. I want happy customers. I want you to feel like you would shop with me in the future, and would feel comfortable recommending me to friends and family.  So, if you’re experience has been unsatisfactory, please tell me what I can do to make your experience at my store better.BIDDING - All of my auction-style format items start at .99 cents. I do not force a price on you. If you bid a bazillion dollars on something, get it in your hands and think "Wow, this was only worth half a bazillion dollars!" PLEASE do not get upset at me as I didn't make you bid! Read the description, look at all of the pictures, ask questions if you would like more info and bid where you feel comfortable! I try to take a lot of good clear pictures from different angles for you, but if you would like more pictures just ask!COMBINED SHIPPING - Combined shipping is available! I don’t have a going combined rate because I typically ship items for less than the actual costs, so I judge by the weight and size of the final order. PLEASE wait to pay for your items until you are completely done bidding: items that have been paid for no longer quality for combined shipping. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN A WEEK OF AUCTIONS END; this means if you’re purchasing more than one item, all of the items you’ve purchased must be paid for within a week of the FIRST auctions end and a new order needs to be started if there are more items you’re bidding on.LIABILITY - In making a purchase from The Discount Equestrian the buyer acquires full responsibility and liability for any accident, injury or damage of any sort to any person(s), animal(s) or property that might occur while said purchase is in use. By making a purchase from The Discount Equestrian, the buyer agrees to full responsibility and understands with full knowledge that The Discount Equestrian is NOT liable for any event that takes place after the purchased item is received by the buyer.INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - International shipping is expensive! The prices have gone up; therefore I quote higher than it actually may be. I will refund the difference in price upon shipment, but I do expect the winning bidder, if from outside the U.S., to pay the quoted charge. Also, sometimes I quote too low, in which case I expect the buyer to pay the difference in the quoted and the actual charge. I AM NOT responsible for any customs fees or charges incurred upon the arrival of the package in the receiving country. I have NO control over this and am not responsible or liable for any costs.
