The winterised Capra Mid features leather uppers and GORE-TEX to offer protection and comfort whether you are soaring up inclines or scrambling over snow and ice.
A pig suede leather and mesh upper combine in the Capra Mid to provide the wearer with comfort, durability and ventilation all in equal measures. The suede leather offers durability against abrasion and comfort as it has excellent stretch properties. Whilst the mesh elements in the upper offer breathability and ventilation to create a cool and pleasant environment within the shoe. Although the shoe features breathable mesh in the upper, a GORE-TEX lining provides complete weather protection as well as added durability. A bellows tongue further keeps unwanted detritus out of the shoe, whilst a traditional lace closure offers a custom and precise fit. The outsole consists of a Vibram outsole with 5mm lugs to allow to grip to even the most rough and rugged terrain in all conditions. Vibram is the hallmark of outsole quality so you can tackle the most demanding of trail in complete confidence. A TrailProtect™ pad offers additional protection against any off road hazards such as roots and sharp rocks. For stability a molded Nylon arch shank upholds the structural integrity of the shoe, and an air cushion under the heel absorbs shock at source whilst further adding to the inherent stability of the shoe.
