Steen’s Taco Super Trail 100 minibike build kit vintage RARE! This is a parts lot to make a VERY RARE Steen’s Taco Super Trail 100 minibike. The F85 Matterhorn, T102 and the Super Tail 100 were the last designs that bore the Taco Brand in 1971-72. Very few of these bikes were ever made and fewer still survive to this day. The ST100 with 8 inch wheels shared the same basic frame design as the T100 with 6 inch wheels. The ST100 frames had the additions of weldments for the larger forkneck, fork stop, heavy duty folding footpegs and rear foot brake pivot stud. This is one of the remaining projects that we have left after restoring 26 assorted Taco and Bonanza models from 2008 to 2012. Please read the parts descriptions carefully and study the images.Please do NOT bid if you are unfamiliar with these parts. Additional parts will be needed to complete this bike; most of these have been listed below. Sorry, we will NOT sell these parts individually! This auction includes FREE SHIPPING; if the buyer arranges for pick up; the shipping cost will be refunded. We have another completely restored Taco ST100 bike and can help the buyer with sourcing parts and with building information. We are also including a bunch of extra parts; see descriptions below for more info. The following items are descriptions of the individual parts which ARE included in this auction: Frame = Original straight, blasted. The footpegs, brake mount pivot stud, kick stand tab are all present. There are minor scratches along bottom of lower tubes. This frame has already had extensive repairs, non stock parts were cut off and extra holes were filled etc. It will need to have the new motor plate installed, some more small spots will need filling and it will need more finish sanding. Please note that there are some extra welding deposits around the fork neck which will also need some more careful sanding with a small wheel to clean up. Motor mounting plate = NEW reproduction Swing arm = Original straight, blasted. No problems seen. Taco Large logo cast aluminum Clutch Cover = NEW reproduction; from Jeff Clark; his are the BEST! Foot pegs X 2 = Original straight, pivot holes are somewhat ovalized. Fork upper assembly = Original straight, blasted, complete. Fork leg lower assemblies X 2 = Original straight, complete. Front fender = Original, small dent, easy fix Rear Fender = NOS chrome Rear Fender bracket= NOS zinc plated Rear wheel sprocket = Original, good condition Rear brake pedal = Original, good condition, foot pad section has been extended, original pad is only 1 ¼” long Rear brake pedal rod = Original, good condition Kickstand w/ spring = NOS zinc plated, not original Handlebar clamps = NOS chrome and zinc plated, not original Front and rear wheel halves X 4 = Original, blasted, primered and painted with Duplicolor engine enamel silver caliper paint. Some pitting seen along inner sides of wheel halves, will NOT be seen once assembled. Front and rear brake assemblies x 2 = Original, blasted, good condition, one missing pads. Front and rear wheel bearings, spacers and axles = Original, good condition, complete Rear wheel chain tensioners X3 = Original, good condition, complete Handlebars = Original, good condition, very slight bend; one side is about 3/16 higher at the end, , chrome is worn, some scratches. 1 lot = misc. hardware, nuts, bolts, etc. The following items are descriptions of additional extra parts which are NOT shown in the images but are will also be included in this auction: Front and rear brake assemblies x 2 = Original, good condition, complete Fork upper assembly = Original, has nasty welding, complete. 1 lot = misc. hardware, nuts, bolts, etc.The following are some of the items that are MISSING from this bike and are NOT included in this auction:1. 4HP Tecumseh HS40 motor with exhaust.2.
