After the introduction to the market in 2003 the Pieps DSP quickly became the preferred beacon for backcountry skiers and rescue professionals. The Pieps DSP PRO combines modern digital search technology with three antennas and a Digital Signal Processor to support the searcher in the most critical situations. Whether you are faced with single or multiple burial situations the Pieps DSP PRO's unique features make things easy and fast for the searcher. MULTIPLE BURIALS: The absolute highlight of the Pieps DSP PRO is based on signal separation by the Digital Signal Processor. OUTSTANDING RANGE: Searching 60 meters in all orientations. True 55 meter search strip width. THREE ANTENNA SYSTEM: Extremely accurate for locating victims no matter the position or depth of the buried victim. SCAN BUTTON: Used for multiple burial situations. MARK BUTTON: Once you locate the closest victim, use the mark button to isolate the signal and immediately begin searching for the next closest victim. SMART TRANSMITTER: The DSP PRO will transmit its signal in-between the signal of a nearby beacon. No more overlapping signals! iPROBE COMPATIBLE: The DSP PRO can be deactivated by the iPROBE to maximize search efficiency. TX600 TRANSMITTER: The DSP PRO is compatible with the TX600 Dog and Equipment beacon. INCLINOMETER: Measure the slope angle with the integrated inclinometer. OLD DEVICE DETECTION: Older beacons have a continuous signal that can cause a negative effect on the MARK function. The DSP PRO recognizes these signals and indicates them so the rescuer can read the signal accurately. SOFTWARE UPDATE: You can update your DSP PRO to the latest software without having to buy a new beacon. This also allows for diagnostic testing of the beacon with printable reports on all beacon functions. Software updates are available at authorized Pieps ServiceCenters.
