The first design of the Bialaddin Bowl Fire lamp, it has the spouted preheater and the rear exhaust pipe. The control knob is the cherry red type (later ones were green).Being an early one, the name badge doesn't have the tab that sticks out where the guard clips onto at the bottom, the handle is braced unlike the later ones and the burner is slightly different. Fitted all new seals, pump washer and a non asbestos wick.I've used this most days this week, it's a great looking heater that chucks out loads of heat, it's also nice seeing what you're buying actually working well.They work on a fixed wire mantle, there's no fiddling with the tie on silk mantles. This one fires up first time every time, always fill spirit cup right to the brim before lighting and wait till its nearly all consumed before pumping.Please study all the pictures because they comprise an integral part of this description, it's a 1950s heater lamp and as such will show signs of use, age, along with ware and tear. Will be wrapped and boxed VERY well, sent by courier and to be signed for.
