 The apparent Turkish helmet that I bought from you recently is unlike any other that I have ever seen, and its design and decor
are very elegant and harmonious.  Ottoman helmets that I have seen in photos from museums reveal a penchant for decor organized
in strips or lobes moving from the base to the peak. The one I bought does just that with every fourth strip gilded. The artisan who chiseled the floral design even went to the trouble of representing different kinds of flowers. Interesting.........You are welcome to quote this for a testimonial............

   I have been VERY PLEASED with the 3 items that I have purchased from you during July-August 2010: (1) the "Pious Fish" (a very well-made, heavy-metal, bronze-artwork, fish-figurine that Shia Muslims used during their commemoration of "Ashura" and the martyrdom of their Imam Hussain -- this is a truly remarkable, religious item that belongs in a serious cultural museum.); (2) the "Lilal Helmet" an Indo-Persian helmet with the very scarce 'Lilal' or crescent-moon/star atop the helmet -- which is surprisingly very heavy (would very well protect the head during battle) and which has nicely engraved Arabic-text protection-blessing prayers -- one of the better helmets that I have seen offered; and (3) the "Lilal Shield", which is a larger-than-usual size, heavy (indicating good sound quality -- not a cheap, light-weight, 'tinny' just-for-the-tourist item), with incredibly detailed "hand-chiseling" of Arabic text [whereby the metal surrounding the letters was 'beaten down' to all the text to appear 'up raised']  in numerous places atop the shield, and for images it has 4 very detailed "Lilal" or 'crescent-moon with star' designs atop the shield, [all of this hand chiseling of letters and artwork indicates a very long and arduous work -- not something that was easily 'mass-produced' just for the tourist trade].  
   I am MOST PLEASED with your quick email replies to my inquiries about these items, and your FINE PACKAGING of ensuring that a lot of wrapping materials were used to protect these items during shipment.

I must say I was very sceptic on purchasing any items over the Internet
 from such a distance you always hear of bad experiences but dealing
with you has been a revelation you have always been very quick to reply
to my emails regarding both my purchases from you. The tracking system
 from FedEx was very good the items left India & 5 days later they were
in my lounge on display. As for the 2 helmets I have purchased from you
both are amazing the engraving is beautiful and the chiseling is first
rate both are very heavy pieces of armor as you can guess I'm very
happy with both of them.
