Triple Aught Design Caswell Knives CK-3 TAD EditionRefined Not RadicalThe CK-3 is a fixed blade, utility edc capable of overcoming the toughest environments and obstacles. Refined rather than radical, the CK-3 is the latest iteration of Caswell’s original CK-1. The CK-1 was Caswell’s first fixed blade design and it was tested, and evaluated by the FBI. The parameters for the knife were simple; the FBI wanted a compact fixed blade that was utilitarian by design, and made zero use of jimping on the spine and blade with a simple Kydex sheath that was discreet enough to be carried in a waistband. The CK-1 delivered on the needs of the FBI and the latest iteration, the CK-3, continues to refine the design of the CK-1. The blade is a wide, full-height flat ground modified sheepsfoot with a thin fine edge. The handle of the CK-3 is a highly textured black G10 that is permanently affixed to the blade without any pins or screws.
